Hair growth is very probably genetic, with most people having about half an inch of hair growth month on month and there’s not much you can do about that. However, you can make the best of the cards you have been given by following these tips to improve the quality of your hair. If you want beautiful and strong hair it helps if you do the following;

  • Try to maintain a healthy balance diet rich in protein and vitamins. Protein consists of amino acids that help hair growth.
  • Avoid washing your hair daily and use a quality shampoo with nutrients and a built-in conditioner.
  • Avoid chemical treatments such as dyes and especially bleaching or hair lightening products.
  • Apply rich coconut oil before going to bed because it acts as a food for your hair.
  • Avoid tying your hair and make sure you have it trimmed regularly to remove any lose ends.
  • Don’t use a hair dryer or curling tongs to dry your hair as these tend to make your hair brittle
  • Brush and massage you hair gently but avoid scratching your hair or damaging your hair follicles.

If you can you should try to consult with a hair expert to find out the best needs for your hair type and whether you have a dry or oily scalp.

Whatever the suggestion is, unless you follow a nutritional balanced chart it is not possible for you to have good and strong hair. Hair growth depends largely on your diet!
